Outcomes from 1998-2012


1998
CDAF sent an  athlete  to  attend the Nagano Winter Paralympic Games in Athens, Greek  as  an  observer.

In  the  same  year,  Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation  was  donated  by  Cambodia  Trust  for attending the Angkor International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap Province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

1999
- CDAF sent 7 athletes to participate in FESPIC Games, their first international event in Bangkok, Thailand ( the event attended by 44 Nations). Cambodia won 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. This image has woken the society up and placed a very important achievement into the whole community of Cambodia, and discrimination towards  people with disabilities has been deeply considered and reduced  from step to  step

In conjunction with Australian Embassy, CDAF supported two athletes for ARAFURA Games participation in Australia. The Cambodian competitors achieved a silver and a bronze medal as a result. 

In the same year, Cambodian Disabled Athletics Federation was donated by Japanese International NGO/NPO Hearts of Gold for attending the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia..

2000
CDAF sent 2 athletes to be involved in the Millennium Marathon Fun Run in New Zealand, and one of Cambodian disabled athletes became the first Cambodian amputee to complete a full Marathon (42 Kilometers) with success in the second class winning one silver medal in the contest. He has made a very great historic achievement for Cambodia in term of joining the international tournament with friends from the world to create the New Millennium History of Sports.

In the same year, Cambodian Disabled Athletics Federation was donated by Japanese International NGO/NPO Hearts of Gold for participating in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

2001
CDAF deported  six  athletes to take part in the  1st Asian Para Game in Malaysia.  As the outcome of the contest,  Cambodian  athletes  won six  medals including two gold, two silver and  two bronze ones.

In November  2001,  CDAF had a great chance to meet with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen  and during the meeting, five of the athletes of CDAF had a great honor to obtain the National Level Medal Award from him.

In the same year, Cambodian Disabled Athletics Federation was donated by Japanese International NGO/NPO Hearts of Gold for attending the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

2002
On April 27th– May 6th 2002, CDAF  sent five competitive participants  to Malaysia for the 11th Malaysian Games participation, and the event was attended by many countries from Asia and Asia Pacific. Cambodian disabled team won thirteen medals including six gold, five silvers and two bronzes for the final results.

On August 4th, 2002, five of the athletes had a great honor to receive His majestic Medal Awards from the Cambodian retired king Norodom Sihanuk.

In November, 2002, CDAF sent eight candidates to take part in 8th FESPIC Games in South Korea, and the event was attended by 48 Nations. As a result, Cambodian athletes won five medals, two gold, two silvers and one bronze.

In the same year, Cambodian Disabled Athletics Federation was sponsored by Japanese International NGO/NPO Hearts of Gold for attending the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

2003
On December 18–29, 2003, CDAF sent fifteen candidates to take part in the Second Asean Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, and the event was joined by 11 countries, and Cambodian athletes received ten medals for consisting of  two gold, five silver and three bronze ones for the tournament achievement.      

In the same year,  Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was  donated by  Japanese International NGO/NPO Hearts of gold for attending the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Cambodia.

2004
CDAF,  under  the  leading of  NPCC, deported  two  competitors  and  three officials  to  participate in the tournament in Athens, Greek.

In the  same  year, Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by  Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  for taking part in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Cambodia.

2005
- On 19 –21 December, 2005, CDAF donated by Japanese International NPO/NGO, Hearts of Gold sponsored Cambodian disabled athletics team for involving the Angkor International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia, and as a result, the team  were successful in winning two gold, two bronze medals.

In the same year, on November 25th to December 3rd  2005, CDAF arranged and directed the marathon  program  from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh called “ Flame of Hope ,which was  sponsored by  World  Vision Cambodia, Cambodian Disabled People’s  Organization, Japanese  International  NPO/NGO,  Hearts of gold and other  organizations with  total of 15000 US dollars.

On  December 12-22, 2005,  under  the  leading  of   National  Paralympic  Committee of  Cambodia (NPCC) headed by Samdach Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, CDAF was highly honorably donated by the Prime Minister for advocating Cambodian  disabled team to get involved in the 3rd Asian Disabled Athletics Games in Philippine. The team earned five silver medals and a bronze medal for achievement of the contest.

In the same  year, Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by  Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  for taking part in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province,  Kingdom of Cambodia.

2006
Cambodian Disabled Athletics Federation was donated by Japanese International NGO/NPO Hearts of Gold for attending in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

2007
Under the leading of Japanese International NPO/NGO, Hearts of Gold, CDAF sent two athletes to Japan for “Kasumiguarak International Blind Marathon” participation on April 11th – 16th, 2007.  The success was brought to Cambodia as a result.

On December 02, 2007, Cambodian Disabled Athletics Federation led the athletes to be involved in the 12th Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Agnkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia under the donation of Japanese International NPO/NGO Hearts of Gold. The great result winning awards in first, second and third class in the contest was achieved by CDAF team.

2008
Under the leading of  NPCC, CDAF sent five athletes to Thailand for Asean Games on January 17-23 2008, and one of the athletes won a silver medal for in the tournament.

Under the leading of Japanese International NPO/NGO Hearts of Gold, CDAF also sent two athletes to participate in the “Kasumiguarak” in Japan by April 16-21,2008.

In the  same  year, Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by  Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  for taking part in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province,  Kingdom of Cambodia.

2009
On April 16-21, 2009, Under the leading and donation of Japanese International NGO/NPO Heats of Gold, CDAF sent an athlete to be involved in “Kasumiguarak Marathon” in Japan. This event was held to show the legacy of war. 

In the  same  year, Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by  Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  for taking part in the 14th  Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province,  Kingdom of Cambodia.


2010

On April 16-21, 2010, Under the leading and donation of Japanese International NGO/NPO Heats of Gold, CDAF sent an athlete to involve “Kasumiguarak Marathon” in Japan. This event was held to show the legacy of war.

Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by International Half Marathon Executive Steering Committee through Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  to involve the 15th Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province,  Kingdom of Cambodia.


2011
Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by International Half Marathon Executive Steering Committee through Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  to involve the 16th Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province,  Kingdom of Cambodia.

2012
Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by International Half Marathon Executive Steering Committee through Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  to involve the 17th Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province,  Kingdom of Cambodia.

2013
On April 16-21, 2012, Under the leading and donation of Japanese International NGO/NPO Heats of Gold, CDAF sent an athlete to involve “Kasumiguarak Marathon” in Japan. This event was held to show the legacy of war.

Cambodian  Disabled  Athletics  Federation was donated by International Half Marathon Executive Steering Committee through Japanese International NGO/NPO  Hearts of Gold  to involve the 18th Angkor Wat International Half Marathon held in front of Angkor Wat campus in Siem Reap province,  Kingdom of Cambodia.
